On Monday, the stock market experienced fluctuating prices during the initial trading hours, with major indices maintaining limited trading ranges for most of the session.

The performance of key indices was notably impacted by the underperformance of large-cap and semiconductor stocks.

The S&P 500 concluded the day with a 0.54% decline. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq 100 reached a three-week low, dropping by 0.99%.

Money can be observed shifting towards a range of other stocks, which helped to provide a degree of support to the broader market.

Consistent with our discussions in the weekend webinar, it is crucial to remain vigilant for tree shaking. Accordingly, we undertook some profit-taking activities last week to navigate through this retail market environment.
