Weak economic data and disappointing earnings from the likes of TSLA may have worried the market during the silly season. Doji bars end the session on Thursday so there might be a possibility of a pop today.

All the main markets in U.S. closed in the red, as did most of the sectors.
In Europe, the FTSE 100 was the only index to close every so slightly green.

Taking profits out of E-Mini last week and spending most of this week doing very little in a balanced market seemed the right call.
