DDOG Decisions

We have made some good decisions and some poor decisions with Datadog, Inc.  

We bought DDOG in July 2022 and within a couple of months realised we might have been too eager - so exited the trade with around a 10% loss.

On Feb 1 2023, after analysing the stock again, both with fundamentals and technicals, we bought back the position.

After three months of sideways action, the stock moved into profit allowing us an opportunity to compound.

Unfortunately, the compound was with the use of a buy stop order (while we were out) and was filled out at a very unfavourable level.

Original entry approx: $76

Recent add-on approx: $98

Current price approx: $12 

As we close 2023, the individual positions and overall trade are in good profit with the original position up nearly 70%.
