Be prepared - the next move is coming!

To make money from the markets we need to always be prepared.
The next move is coming - whatever that may be.

I know this has already been mentioned by Javid in the webinars, but I think it's worth mentioning again.

Getting a flight

We had expected volatility to increase, over the last few weeks, leading up to the elections.
So far, volatility has been less than anticipated and the pullback has not been as extended as we thought it might be.
However, the election has not reached its conclusion - so we still need to be a little cautious.

As mentioned on the weekly webinars, in the longer term the market is still looking bullish.
If, after NFP, the market carries on with the same personality and conditions it has had since March we should expect strength - and maybe new highs towards the latter part of the year.
With a promise of a vaccine on the horizon the markets remain buoyant but the issues, short term, are if there is a prolonged delay in the Presidential outcome or if the U.S. goes into some form of lockdown - and then for how long.
Assuming there is no lockdown and a White House winner is concluded soon, the market is poised to continue that upward trend.

As always, KYL (Know Your Levels).

Time to dust down your StockCharts software and find those sectors that look attractive.
Currently, tech, financials and, if we look further out, travel and tourism will also be of interest. If we have a working vaccine soon, next year could see an abundance of travel.

Open up your TC2000 software and look for new stocks making moves and coming up the ranks.
Remember to look at industry as well as sector strength.

And for those of you interested in fundamentals, and are now using StockRover, research the stocks that are on your TC watchlist by using the fundamental metrics we discussed in the recent webinars.

When there is nothing to do in the markets, it means we have the opportunity to do a lot more analysis!

Do your research and prepare for potential big moves.

Let's go trade!
